Honoring a Legacy: IIANC Dedicates Boardroom in Memory of Bobby Salmon

The Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina (IIANC) recently held a special ceremony to dedicate the IIANC Boardroom in memory of Bobby Salmon—a cherished colleague, mentor, and friend whose leadership left a lasting impression on both Correll Insurance Group and the independent insurance industry as a whole.

Bobby’s influence extended far beyond his role as Agency Principal of INSURE, a Member of Correll Insurance Group, in Raleigh, NC. He was a guiding force within IIANC and a trusted voice in advancing the mission of independent agents across the state. His legacy continues to inspire integrity, service, and connection within our industry.

During the November 2025 dedication, attendees shared heartfelt memories that echoed a common theme—Bobby made everyone feel heard, valued, and appreciated. His candid advice, quick wit, and ability to lighten any moment left a lasting impression on all who knew him. More than a year after his passing, his influence remains deeply felt.

Bobby’s family joined longtime friends, colleagues, and past IIANC leaders for the event, making the evening especially meaningful and a true reflection of how widely his impact was felt.
