About Correll Insurance Group In The Carolinas

Helping Carolinians Make Informed Insurance Decisions

If you’re like most people, auto insurance is the last thing on your mind. Homeowners insurance is something you think about once a year. And business insurance is a painfully large expense that eats up your bottom line.

Until … the day you need insurance. On the day you need insurance, you’ll be glad that Correll Insurance Group is on your side.

On that day, your busy life will pause for just a moment while you encounter the unexpected. It might be an oncoming car running a red light. It could be a windstorm shredding your roof. Or perhaps it’s your dog tackling a bicyclist on your street. Whatever the situation, one thing is for certain, you’ll feel immensely relieved to know that you have the right insurance coverage and the right insurance expertise to get you through a stressful time.

Your one-stop shop for car, home, and business insurance Think of Correll Insurance Group as your one-stop insurance shop. Homeowners Insurance

When you purchase homeowners insurance, make sure your limits are based on your home’s replacement value, not its market value or the amount of your mortgage.

In bad economies, market value is often lower than replacement value. In other words, a home that would sell for $200,000 may require $300,000 to rebuild. As homeowners watch the value of their homes decline, many mistakenly believe that they should drop the limits on their homeowners insurance coverage.

However, if your home was destroyed, your policy would pay to replace your home on the existing land. It would not pay to buy you a new home somewhere else. And it would not pay off your mortgage for the house and land.

Many factors are considered in the replacement value equation, including the cost to update older homes to today’s building codes and the fluctuating costs of labor and building supplies in your geographical area.

Before you purchase homeowners insurance, ask your Correll insurance agent to provide you with an accurate replacement value assessment for your home’s structure along with any detached garages, barns, or sheds. If you’re not sure if your home is insured to 100 percent of its replacement value, ask for a free assessment today.

On the recommendation of friends, my wife and I began doing business with Correll Insurance Group shortly after we moved to Spartanburg in 1996. We have continued that relationship ever since and have been very pleased. Correll offers insurance coverage through a number of top flight carriers. They found us great coverage for our home and automobiles as well as an umbrella liability policy. While we have been very happy with the products offered, their outstanding customer service is really what has kept us coming back year after year. When I call or e-mail our agent at Correll with a question or concern, I can always expect a prompt, accurate, courteous response.
