We’re proud to celebrate Kassie Williams, CIC, CISR, President of Correll Insurance Group of Hilton Head and Southeast Coast Underwriters (SECU), on her election to the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of South Carolina (IIABSC) Board of Directors.
Kassie was elected during the IIABSC’s 128th Annual Convention and will serve a three-year term on the Board.
With more than 20 years of insurance industry experience, Kassie has held roles spanning account management, underwriting, operations and agency leadership. She joined Correll Insurance Group of Hilton Head in 2011 as Operations Manager and now serves as President, where she leads the agency’s continued growth and development.
Her election provides another opportunity to contribute her experience and perspective to South Carolina’s independent insurance community.
“On behalf of Correll Insurance Group, we are incredibly proud to see Kassie take on this new role. Her dedication to our industry, our organization, and the Lowcountry communities we serve makes this a well-deserved opportunity. We look forward to seeing the impact she will make during her time on the IIABSC Board," said John Dawson, Chief Executive Officer, Correll Insurance Group.
Celebrating the Jon A. Jensen Legacy Award
The convention also brought another special moment for Correll Insurance Group. Ashley Brady, CIC, of First Charter Insurance, received the Jon A. Jensen Legacy Award, named in honor of Correll Executive Chairman and former CEO Jon Jensen.
The award recognizes a SC Big I agent member who demonstrates the excellence, leadership and dedication that have defined Jon’s career. Jon was on hand to help recognize Ashley and celebrate the honor.
Congratulations to Kassie on her election to the IIABSC Board of Directors and to Ashley on receiving the Jon A. Jensen Legacy Award. We’re proud to celebrate their continued leadership and service to the independent insurance community.
