Insight Risk Management, a member of Correll Insurance Group is currently seeking an experienced commercial lines account manager to manage a book of middle market accounts in our New Albany, MS. This position is the first point of contact for our clients by providing consultation and technical support. The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented with a drive to achieve goals and maintain a great customer experience. You will be able to suggest forward-thinking ideas to promote our brand and work closely with clients to understand their needs. This individual will have excellent communication abilities and negotiation skills.

Job Summary:

The CL Account Manager will provide a high level of sales support to the Producer and customer service to clients. The position requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion in order to meet those service levels. The CL Account Manager will assist in the production of new and renewal accounts in keeping with Agency and individual Producer goals and provide field service in support of Producer activities. They will be responsible for assisting clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts. The CL Account Manager will work with the Producer to design and recommend proper insurance and risk management programs to Agency clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with clients and producers to complete accurate submissions for marketing to selected carriers and obtaining quotes on new and renewal business.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relations to understand their business and analyze their current needs, look for “cross selling” opportunities, and proactively resolve any service issues.
  • Review carrier quotes to ensure client’s risks are covered and negotiate coverage changes and pricing.
  • Create proposals/coverage summaries for assigned producers using Microsoft Word & Excel as well as other software integration.
  • Maintain client’s policies, initiate endorsements, and manage billing/collections.
  • Reviews audits of policies; verifies accuracy and facilitates corrections, as needed, between client and carrier.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong track record in Property & Casualty lines preferred in order to immediately step in and manage a large book of business (minimum 1-3 years of experience).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with multiple clients, in a fast-paced environment requiring completion of tasks within required timeframes. This critical thinking and good judgment to quickly determine and prioritize key issues.
  • Proficiency using AMS360/WorkSmart.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) proficiency.
  • Property and Casualty Insurance license required.
  • Designation in CISR, CIC preferred but not required.
