Job Summary:

The Insurance Marketing Specialist provides marketing service necessary to obtain property and casualty quotes on new and renewal accounts allowing the Producer to focus on selling and maintaining his/her relationship with the client. Working directly with the insurance carriers to submit required applications, documents, etc. to obtain accurate quotes. This position is for marketing at all locations and is part of our "Centralized Marketing Unit" so the team member can work from Nashville, TN or Knoxville, TN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with Producers and Underwriters to gather required information necessary to obtain quotes.
• Partner with Producers to develop a marketing strategy and identify account specific goals or desired outcomes.
• Select appropriate carriers to submit for marketing.
• Organizational skills to maintain a structured timeline and make adjustments as necessary for each account.
• Keep Producers informed of the marketing status and immediately involve them if a problem arises.
• Analyze submissions and discuss with the Producer.
• Generate formal proposals.
• Review coverage for accepted quote proposals.
• Document all quotes and correspondence in Agency Management System/Content Management System related to marketing information so the account manager can transition into managing the account without delay.
• Maintain marketing relationship with appropriate company personnel.
• Access carrier databases as quick references and maintain the databases with up-to-date marketing information.
• Conduct all business within applicable laws to avoid potential errors and omissions.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• 1-5 years commercial property and casualty insurance experience.
• Commercial Lines Account Management or Marketing experience.
• AMS360 and WorkSmart/ImageRight experience preferred.
• Self-starter.
• Work well independently yet function as part of the account management team.
• Superior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
